Sea Captain’s House is proud to support Habitat for Humanity of Horry County and the development of Marlowe Village, a new neighborhood that will provide affordable homeownership opportunities for local families.
Members of the community recently gathered for the official Marlowe Village groundbreaking at Freewoods Farm, marking the beginning of a project that will ultimately include 24 safe, affordable homes for Horry County families. The neighborhood represents a $6.2 million investment in local affordable homeownership, made possible by local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community partners.
Sea Captain’s House is honored to be recognized among the partners helping bring Marlowe Village to life. Supporting the Myrtle Beach community has always been important to the restaurant, and being part of a project that will have a lasting impact on local families makes this contribution especially meaningful.
We are grateful to Habitat for Humanity of Horry County and everyone involved in making Marlowe Village possible. We look forward to seeing this new neighborhood take shape and welcoming 24 families home.
When you’re in Myrtle Beach, stop by Sea Captain’s House for a meal by the ocean and support a restaurant that is proud to give back to the community it calls home.
