'Tis the Season at Sea Captain’s House

The holiday season is around the corner. Here at Sea Captain’s House in Myrtle Beach, we’ve brought our decorations out of storage and are adding the finishing touches to make the restaurant look merry and bright. When you arrive you’ll notice all of our festive traditions including homemade cookie ornaments hanging on the trees, greenery along the mantle, a fire roaring in the fireplace, and a hot cup of homemade Wassail calling your name. At Sea Captains, we love the holiday and celebrating the season with you.
Holiday Happy Hour
From November through February 29th, stop by our bar from 4 pm-6 pm, Monday through Friday, and enjoy happy hour with us. We’re offering ½ off all appetizers with the purchase of an alcoholic drink in the bar area. The best way to wind down at the end of the day is sipping on an a Home for the Holidays cocktail with a picturesque view of the ocean.
New Offerings
Since it’s the most merry time of the year, we’ve decided to add to the joy by offering new festive cocktails and entrees on our menu.
- Home For the Holidays: Gin, Lemon juice, Cranberry juice, bitters, egg white, clove (coupe glass with white foam on top)
- Bourbon Apple: Bourbon, ginger syrup, apple juice, lemon juice, cracked black pepper (short rocks glass)
- Winter Wonderland: Vodka, peppermint schnapps, chocolate liquor, red sugar rim (red rimmed martini glass)
- Sea Bass: Pan Seared Sea Bass over butternut squash corn, leak, red and green bell pepper and shaved brussel hash with an apple and pear gastrique
- Cioppiono: Fennel seafood broth, caramelized leeks, shrimp, little neck clams finished with a grilled lobster tail
Decadent Holiday Desserts
Our pastry chef has been extra busy this time of year preparing homemade desserts that make a delicious addition to any holiday dinner or a sweet gift for loved ones. Choose from options like Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie, Hummingbird Cake, and NEW Pumpkin swirl white chocolate cheesecake!
Our cakes and pies are made fresh daily and if you’re ordering one for the holidays, we ask that you give us 2 weeks notice so we can ensure we will have the desserts on your list.
Holiday Parties
Are you in charge of hosting your friends or family’s holiday gatherings? Need a space to celebrate with coworkers? We offer an amazing oceanfront view and a variety of rental room options to accommodate almost any size group. We have the following rooms available:
- Green Room: holds up to 100 people
- Chart Bar: holds up to 20 people + bar seating
- Admiral Room: holds 12 to 14 people
- Commodore Room: holds 12 to 14 people
- Enclosed patio option
