Q: Tell us a little about your background — what brought you into the world of events and hospitality?
A: I’m a true local to the Grand Strand. I grew up by the beach spending my time outside, dancing at my Mother’s studio, and singing “Twinkle-Twinkle” with my Father at his local music gigs. On Holidays, I cherished spending time with my extended families and eating home-cooked meals of traditional Greek foods. I started working as a hostess, and proudly began my adventure through food and beverage from North Myrtle Beach leading me all the way to St. Pete Beach, Florida, bartending and enjoying the taste of a different pace and beach community. When I wasn’t working or on the beach, I found myself attending live music performances and events of all sizes. Since moving back to Pawleys Island, I’ve been fortunate to deepen my roots through growing my craft locally. I hope to continue to show locals and tourists alike how special of an experience they can have off the Carolina coast.

Q: What are your favorite menu items at Sea Captain’s House?
A: Every new item I try becomes my favorite! Keep an eye out for a hand-selected, paired and coursed, dinner event menu!
Q: If you had to recommend one dish for a catered event, what would it be and why?
A: I love providing a variety of our most popular classic dishes – there’s nothing like being able to see a satisfied smile when you continue to meet expectations of 60 years of service! But I also love to work with people and add their personal touches and make their ideas a reality. But I will say, a seasoned and roasted seasonal vegetable is a highly under-rated catering option complimenting any event menu!
