1. Seafood Platter
We’re known for our award-winning seafood so it’s no wonder our Seafood Platter is ranked among the top most popular dishes. Plus, it’s the perfect selection for those that can’t choose just one type of seafood dish because you get a little taste of it all. Our platter consists of a generous portion of fresh Shrimp, Scallops, Flounder and Oysters. The most popular style of preparation is fried, but you have the option of ordering it broiled as well. Pair with a side of seasonal vegetables or fries and you’ll get a true taste of what Myrtle Beach is all about!
2. Fresh Catch
Sea Captain’s prides itself on serving the freshest seafood and supporting local by featuring a selection of fresh fish caught right off the coast of South Carolina. We rotate out the fresh catch portion of the menu weekly depending on what the local fishermen bring in off the boat that day. Some of the fish we feature includes Golden Tile Fish, Grouper, Swordfish, Oysters, Snapper and Mahi Mahi. The fresh catches are served with your choice of side and the chef’s fresh sauce of the day. You also have the option of adding Sautéed Shrimp, Lump Crabmeat, or Lobster Claw and Knuckle Meat to your fish.
3. Pecan Grouper
One of the Captain’s Favorites, the Pecan Grouper is fresh Pan Seared Pecan Crusted Grouper with Citrus Beurre Blanc. The crisp, buttery flavor of the pecans blend well with the mild flavor of the grouper, enhanced by the citrus beurre blanc sauce. The Pecan Crusted Grouper is a great choice for those that want to try a new seafood dish!
4. Crab Cakes
It’s no surprise that our Crab Cakes can be found on the menu under the Captain’s Favorites as well. You not only get one, but are served three, 3-ounce fresh lump Atlantic Bluefin Crab Cakes with White Wine Lemon-Dill Butter sauce. The light, clean flavors of the crab meat pairs perfectly with the rich essence of the buttery-wine. They pair nicely with our seasonal vegetables or with a hearty baked potato to round out your meal.
This Louisiana inspired medley consists of fresh Carolina Shrimp, Sea Scallops, Andouille Sausage, Spicy Cajun Tomato Sauce all served over Dirty Rice.
