Sea Captain’s House – Award-winning Myrtle Beach Restaurant Wins More Awards!

The Myrtle Beach Herald is a weekly local newspaper publication that’s printed in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. They are the leader in local news, and cover local sports, business and entertainment. Each year they host a contest where readers vote on companies in every category from Automotive and Beauty and Wellness to Food and Drink and Professional Services. There is a main category for every type of company and each is made up of various subcategories. There is a ballot so readers can cast only one vote towards a company per subcategory, per day. All voting takes place online.

Under the main category of Food and Drink, Sea Captain’s was nominated under the following subcategories: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Oceanfront Bar, Fine Dining, Restaurant, Seafood Restaurant and Waterfront Restaurant.

Out of those categories, we are excited to announce Sea Captain’s House was voted Myrtle Beach’s Reader’s Choice Award WINNER for Lunch and Waterfront Restaurant. Our restaurant was also voted as FINALIST in the categories of Seafood Restaurant and Fine Dining.

At Sea Captain’s House Restaurant we pride ourselves are using only the freshest, quality ingredients and always strive to serve the best food along the Grand Strand. There are so many outstanding restaurants in Myrtle Beach – we are honored to have been chosen as winners and finalists in these categories. We are especially excited to win these accolades in the Myrtle Beach Herald Reader’s Choice Awards because it was the readers, not a panel of judges that are the ones who voted. These are the same readers who make up the group of guests that we strive to exceed their dining expectations on a daily basis.

In case these accolades don’t speak for themselves, they are even more reason to come by and enjoy an outstanding dining experience – for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Then you can taste for yourself why our food has won so many honors. And of course the award-winning view of the ocean is complimentary.
